Dreams Will We Ever Fully Understand Them?

Dear J,
I woke up this morning with a smile that stretched from ear to ear. I had the most incredibly vivid dream—one of those dreams so real that, upon waking, you momentarily question if reality is truly what it seems. Yes, one of those.
What made this dream particularly fascinating was how I could see myself waking up in my room as if it were genuinely happening. A beloved relative of mine appeared, someone, I hold dear. As I stirred (in the dream), I heard her voice—vibrant and full of life. She looked radiant, her energy so clear, as she reassured a few other family members in the room that she was perfectly fine. We chatted, though it felt like only a fleeting moment. Just as I became fully aware it was a dream, SNATCH, it was gone.

J, dreams have always intrigued me. Where do they come from? Why do we experience them? So many questions linger without answers. Yet, one thing is sure—this dream brought me immense comfort. It reminded me of the enduring memories I cherish of this particular family member, memories that will never fade.
I tried to meditate on the dream all day, hoping to retrieve more of the conversation, but nothing new surfaced. Still, the takeaway was clear: our time here is precious. We should seize every moment to create lasting memories. These are the treasures that remain with us forever.
"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."-unknown.

Until next time, J!
With love,
Mel
